Spring is right around the corner!

I'm really getting excited about the advent of spring and all its wonderous flowers.  I generally stay in a blue funk during the winter and this winter, I just watched rerun after rerun of Top Chef, The Tudors, Next Top Model, and other reality based shows.  My poor husband fumed over my lack of interest in volunteerism and/or anything else that he considers of value.  Let's face it:  I'm just not a joiner --because I always want to be in charge.  It's part of my personality defect and quite honestly, it's a bummer.  I did join Weight Watchers and have been going to the gym daily but now .......I'm gearing up to work in the garden.  I spent 3 hours weeding and replanting daffodils on both Friday and Saturday.  That's a total of 6 points earned!

See my beginner efforts to replant (I do an awfully alot of transferring) the daffodils so Bob wouldn't trample them whilst he is cutting off all the lower limbs he can find.  He has been running that chain saw non-stop until it finally blew up yesterday.  Thank you, God, for rupturing the fuel line.

Yesterday, we attended my grand niece, Taylor's, baby shower for Tiana.  The decorations and food were wonderful and my weight watchers resolve took a major hit.

The pics are below:  (1) A diaper cake (cute idea!).  (2)  My niece, Amy with the honoree, Taylor, and her grandmother (sister Dolores).  (3) The last pic is of  Taylor, True and Trae.  Spring (next month) will bring sweet Tiana to the family.
